May 2021 Newsletter

Dear PMBHA members,

It’s been great to see so many folk back at the marina, we just need the weather to improve a little! We are hoping to arrange some social events once we get to summer, so watch this space.

We also thought it might be nice to have members’ boating snaps on our web site so if you have any good ones please send them to us, (at this email address) telling us who you are and where the picture is from and we’ll post the best ones every few weeks.

The Hafan has issued a new Notice to Mariners about environmental small scale marine sediment grab sampling around Cardigan Bay and Tremadog Bay (planned for 8-15th June, weather dependent). Please see below for the notice and sites of sampling.

A quick word of warning. If you have dock fenders then make sure to write your boat name on them in indelible ink. Some have gone missing recently and other have become detached and floated free. If they are labelled then they can be returned if found.

Finally, our thoughts and condolences go out to John from Chiarli, whose partner Sandra passed away recently.

Don’t forget to check out the website, all the news (and more) is there: https://www.pmbha.co.uk/

Happy boating everyone!

Best regards

Jenny Moss (Chair) and Committee Members of PMBHA Interim Committee
