SURVEY RE SERVICES DURING 

LOCKDOWN

Cyngor Gwynedd has previously offered to assist Berth Holders where possible with any problems on their vessels and currently undertakes regular inspections of mooring lines, fenders etc.

​

This service may be extended during lockdown to include work by Marine Traders as well as the Hafan both within the Marina and the hard standing. Owners would be able to choose their supplier.  It is possible that the Marine Traders would also offer work at their own premises.

There would of course need to be careful management by the Hafan of personnel working within the Marina and hard standing as Government guidelines would need to continue to be met.  Owners would still not be allowed access to either the Hafan or the hard standing until the Government guidelines change.

As part of the possible increased service during lockdown, the Hafan may begin launching and recovering boats under the direction of the owners who once again would not be allowed to be present during the boat movements.

​

If you think you might wish to use the services that could possibly be on offer, you would need to provide the Hafan office with your name, boat name and telephone number together with a set of keys for access to your vessel.

​

A short survey follows, the purpose of which is to try and gauge the magnitude and timing of any works that might be required.

 

This is not a booking form for any works.

A booking process would be provided by the Hafan if Cyngor Gwynedd decides to go ahead with this service during lockdown.
