"The issue of Insurance is a matter for individual boat owners.

 

The boats on the marina and the outer harbour are checked daily – seven days a week.  In periods where adverse weather is forecasted then this will increase to two inspections daily.

 

We cannot authorise individual boat owners to visit the marina to check their boats.  The vast majority of boat owners reside outside of Pwllheli and would therefore be restricted by the essential travel restrictions imposed by the Government in order to protect lives – our lives included.

 

We fully appreciate the concern but it is imperative that we contribute fully to controlling the spread of COVID-19.

 

We are most sympathetic with everyone and appreciate that this is a very difficult time for us all.
