MARINA LOCKDOWN FROM 5.00PM MONDAY 23/03/20
Dear Berth Holder,
After reviewing the latest information on the spread of coronavirus in Gwynedd, the Council has taken the difficult decision to close the marina from 5.00pm this evening, until further notice.
This means all facilities will be closed and we are in formal lockdown. The marina office, shower and toilet blocks will be locked to prevent entry and the fuel quay will not be open for fuel sales. The bridgehead to the pontoons will be locked, together with the gates to the hard standing areas and the slipway.
Please do not try and visit the marina. If you do, we will have to turn you away. Rest assured a skeleton staff will be on hand to make sure your boat is kept secure.
These are very difficult times for all of us and this is unchartered territory for everyone. Given the evermore pressing requirement to observe social distancing and the need to prevent non essential travel and social contact, we feel this unprecedented step is the only responsible course of action. Your support and cooperation would be greatly appreciated.
Best wishes
Wil Williams
